Palmerston Modern New Build

Set in a Vancouver neighbourhood with sweeping ocean views and city lights beyond, this Palmerston modern new build is a custom home designed in collaboration with Lindsay Eby Interiors, a Vancouver interior designer specializing in luxury residential interiors. The project reflects a refined, architectural approach to modern living—balancing clean lines, thoughtful planning, and a deep connection to its surroundings.

Having lived in an older home on the property for many years, the homeowners chose to start fresh with a brand-new build—one that would look and function exactly as they envisioned. With architectural plans already in place, we worked to refine and enhance the layout, easing tight spaces and making thoughtful adjustments to better support the clients’ lifestyle.

A quiet palette of whites and taupes allows the architecture to take focus, creating a calm backdrop for simple, well-considered furnishings and future additions of art. The design intentionally defers to the clean lines of the home, reinforcing a sense of openness and restraint.

Interior and architecture are closely integrated through a series of custom details, including an artistic floating entry ledge, see-through cabinetry connecting the office and living spaces, and a more casual workspace thoughtfully incorporated into the lower-level stair design. These elements bring both function and visual continuity, supporting a modern, highly livable home.
